Kate
Kate has been managing our propagation team since 2013, when we acquired her from Ventnor Botanic Garden on the Isle of Wight. Kate also worked here as a teenager with the previous owners, so she has a lot of knowledge and has seen a lot of changes.
Kate helps in a variety of roles but is also looking forward to developing our stocklist. This will doubtlessly throw up new propagation challenges as our range increases.
Whether it be sourcing brick slips or grafting trees to keep them compact, life at Shallowmead isn’t dull.
