Picea abies

The Norway Spruce is an evergreen conifer which can grow up to 30m. Growth is fast in the early years, up to 1m per year, but once the tree reaches a height of 20m, growth speed slows. The shoots are an orange/brown colour with glossy, dark green needles

Loam,clay or sandy soil.

Moist but well drained soil.
